It does not use your computer to control your circuits, only to monitor them. Download the manual. Note that most upgrade kits are only sold online. How can I figure shipping? There should be a black plastic piece with three prongs on the motor shaft. If it is not at the top of the shaft then use a screwdriver to move it to the top. If the black piece is missing or some prongs are broken, then you need to order a new motor top (part number 6SCM1T). The “R” models are the educational versions, which include a Student Guide, Teacher Guide, and an upgraded case. The SC-130 has different parts and additional projects, but is not compatible with our upgrade kits or Student Guide. Yes, currently we have a handful of manuals available in French. But as fun and educational as these sets are, they’re really only half of the equation.http://schlammatlas.de/en/node/22062 Whether used in the home or as part of a school project, these extras will really help drive the concepts home. If you’re just starting out and don’t have any sets at all, the best way to get started is with the Student Training Programs. Elenco has put their standard Snap Circuits together with nice storage cases as well as helpful manuals and guides. The most basic set is the SC-100R contains more than 30 parts for building more than 100 experiments. This set includes a student guide and operates on 2x AA batteries and is probably best suited for younger children. The SC-300R on the other hand is a bit meatier and may be probably the best entry point if your child is older in that it has a lot more experiments to do and includes more parts. The SC-300R includes two project books and a student guide. Lastly, the SC-500R and the SC-750R are a little more involved in that they have more experiments and longer manuals, but they also include some real world applications and problem solving quizzes. All of these sets do come in a nice case and they include plenty of instructional materials to really get the basic concepts of electricity down. As the lessons progress, they get more challenging and teach more and more complex ideas. Each kit also teaches about resistors, capacitors, transistors, series circuits and more. As always, the kits would benefit from the ACSNAP battery eliminator to save money on batteries. If you already own some Snap Circuits and are somewhat lost, or you maybe have lost your student materials, don’t worry, you can buy the Elenco 753307 Student Guide which covers lessons for the SC-300R to the SC-750R and they come in full color. The TG-300 teacher’s guide covers all of the Student programs and comes in full color as well. The key thing to note is that the teacher’s guide is to help prepare the teacher to administer the lessons for the various kits and acts as a supplement to the lessons in the student programs and the manuals.http://moj-svet.com/images/89-f150-manual-transmission.pdf The TG-300 includes 200 color pages of student manuals and the teacher’s guide. Similarly, the TG-500 Teacher’s Pak includes a teacher’s guide and student manuals, again in full color. These manuals and student guides are great companions to each other and the main kits. It really is the best way to help your kids learn, whether it be for fun, homeschooling or as an in school group activity. As a side note, we’ve had great success with the SC-500R, in February of 2018, EIO.com donated several of the kits and teaching materials to a local school. The kids not only had a blast, they learned a lot too. Have you used any of these. We’d love to hear from you. Daniel 2.0 out of 5 stars On the other hand: 1). In many cases the components don't function as they are meant to making it the instruction booklet very frustrating for a child to work through. Example: one of the first projects is a circuit with a lamp and resistor in series. The lamp is supposed to light up, but doesn't. The set is meant to be an introduction to electronics so it's a bummer to have to get out a multimeter and start troubleshooting the components immediately (I verified the problem is with the lamp). 2). When you open the box you'll see a request from the manufacturer to contact them rather than the retailer in the event of a problem. The difficulty is nobody answers the phone and nobody returns your call. The magic of this set is that it has the potential to spark interest in electronics among youngsters. Poor quality control and customer service extinguishes the spark. I'm rooting for this product and company so I hope they get their act together. My advice: if you run into a problem, return the set to Amazon and don't waste your time with the manufacturer.I have ALWAYS wanted a big kit like this. I've always been interested in electronics and I thought it would be great to have something to toy around with that doesn't take a lot of work, just snap snap go. The set comes with several components, and they have snaps on them, basically the same type of snap you have on clothing, and you just snap things together according to the diagrams. Included are several project books with various levels of projects in them. For example, book 1 had projects 1-100 or so. Being an adult, I spent the past 2 or 3 hours blasting through book 1. I probably built something like 15 projects out of the 100. There were a lot of projects that were somewhat repetitive and I really was not interested in snapping them all together, even though it is really fast and easy. And I'm always impatient. They give pretty detailed instructions, describing snapping things in stages as things stack vertically. I'm way to impatient for all that. There are several cautions about what NOT to do and of course those should be heeded for safety reasons. But a conductor is a conductor and it isn't really critical how you get from point A to point B to satisfy the basic connections. When it came to building variations, I usually just looked at the change in the diagram and convinced myself that I understood the difference and moved on without snapping anything. Children of various ages would probably take more time and experiment more. I did grab Book 2 and the first few projects did look interesting so I expect there will be several more that I'll want to do. And I may way to go back after I've devoured everything and play a little more. I think kids would want to do the same. I'll enjoy doing that with my kids for sure. I do really like how easy it is to snap it together and get the results. I think kids would do that also, and that is one of the high points of how this set works. I do wish that there was a lot more explanation about the projects. The explanations given are kind of middle of the road, not going really deep but not totally devoid of info about the circuit either. Given that I'm an adult and I already know a few things about electronics and basic circuits I feel like I filled in most of the blanks but I would not expect a child to do that. It is my understanding there is some sort of student guide that would go along with the project book and would go into more detail. My personal opinion on that is: Just include it. Selling it separately only reduces the utility of the kit and makes people irritated that they have to go buy more stuff. I can't imagine that the actual cost of a few more pages of paper would make a huge difference. One thing that is glaringly missing as far as I can tell is an explanation of each IC. Each one has several pins which I'm sure have a designated function, and the projects certainly use various pins, but there does not seem to be any explanation of what exactly each pin is for. This would normally be given for any IC that you really bought in the real world and I think it should be given for a project kit like this also. Maybe I just missed it. In summary: Great kit, really fast and easy, enough projects and flexibility to provide fun and learning for a long time. A ding for lack of supporting materials that should be present by default to make an excellent 5 star set.The after-school care that my kids go to has the less expensive model (the SC-300) and the kids were always playing with this, so when Christmas 2014 rolled around, I knew exactly what to get my kids. They’ve had 7 months to play and build and imaginate (yup, that’s a new word) with this kit and they’ve absolutely loved it. I remember as a kid having a similar electronics kit that I spent much of my youth playing with, and I think I was just as excited to get this as my kids were. It’s a little pricey, but after seeing how much all the kids at after-school care played with it—and being able to view it in person—I knew that it was worth it. The kit is very well laid out and there are plastic blow-molded trays that hold all the pieces together. This makes it very easy to tell if you’re missing any pieces. There a 5 books of designs chock full of things for the kids to build and the instructions are very easy to understand and all the electronic components are clearly marked. One of the coolest things about this kit is it comes with hardware (a cable) that connects to your PC or laptop via the microphone port that turns your computer into an oscilloscope. It’s basic stuff, but it works very well I and really takes this kit to a whole new level. It’s really educational being able to show the kids voltages and currents and waveforms on the computer screen. Now, you know you’ve got something good when the kids start taking apart old toys (anything with a motor in it) and start adding on to this kit with pieces of wire (from the same cannibalized toy). Real MacGyver stuff going on here. The kids have even joined forces and connected their kit with friend’s kits—just make sure you have all your parts before the kids leave. I’ve read some other reviews that are little hard on this kit and that it doesn’t really teach kids about electronics—that this kit it to “cartoony” and more of a puzzle than anything. Is this kit fun? You betcha. Is there learning and teaching happening? Absolutely. Are my kids going to learn about Maxwell’s equation, Lorentz’s law, Gauss’ law. Probably not. I’m an electrical engineer and I can see the fun and educational aspects that this kit provides. If your kids outgrow this and want something more advanced, than by all means get one of the more technical kits that are available. When you were teaching your kids to read, you didn’t start with Tolstoy, did you. This is a fantabulous kit for kids and I’m very happy I purchased it. It’s well built, well thought out, and is definitely one of those toys that your children one day will blow the dust off the box and tell their children, “Look at this toy I had when I was your age!”But for the price I was disappointed as some connectors broke soon after purchase. I also find that it wasn't something that could be used for learning over long periods. Once an experiment is tried once, my son lost interest. A little more flexibility in its use would be great.Purchased for my son turning 8 and he has had SO much fun working through the book, creating each project on his own. Each one is slightly more complicated than the last and he takes great joy in presenting to us what he has created, be it something solar powered, a moving propeller, a light circuit, one with sounds. The fact the pack is so big means there’s no time to get bored and to have “done it all”. Excellent buy.Oh, and one 20 year-old was very jealous for them.;) My 5 year old can play with it for several hours in a row, and sometimes all he needs is recognition from us when something has been created. There are endless projects to make from instructions or create own ones. They love to dance by the music coming from self made FM radio, they love the flying saucer experiments as well as create own ones. Boys love it so much that they just put together their own pocket money to buy the Light kit. At least now they will have separate boards and some main spare parts doubled and will be able to work side by side as well. The only con for this toy is missing opportunity to buy specific missing parts separately for additional projects, e.g. Magnetism, Light, Music, Eco, etc. Although when the original box will rip apart there will be one more big investment of ?48 for Custom Storage Case to make - with limited space only for this particular kit. However the instruction book could do a better job of explaining what goes on and what causes the difference between almost identical experiments. Unless you are much into the world of electric circuits, it may be hard to explain to your little ones.He is so happy with it. It reminds me of when i was young actually getting presents like this. Would recommend this to anyone, a superb buy, my Son absolutely loves it. T o be able to v ar y the output from 0 to 20V, you stac k the IC on the negativ e 1.25VDC voltage as sho wn in Figure 6A. When VR1 equals 0, the output voltage is 0 v olts. THE NEGA TIVE V OL T A GE REGULA T OR The theor y of the voltage regulator is the same as the pre viously discussed positiv e regulator. The basic diff erence is that diodes D1 and D2 are re v ersed producing a negative v oltage across capacitor C1. The LM-337 IC is designed to operate from a negativ e supply. THE D A T A SWITCHES There are eight data s witches labeled SW1 to SW8. The circuit is v er y simple. T o perf or m the desired functions there is a double thro w-double pole s witch. One end is connected to the 5V, the other to ground and the center lug is connected to the output. THE LOGIC SWITCHES The logic s witches perf or m the same function as the data s witch, that is, the y produce high or low states. But there is one big diff erence. When switching the data s witches, man y pulses ma y be produced due to bouncing of the contacts. In the logic s witches, only one pulse is produced, no matter how man y times the contacts bounce. This is e xtremely impor tant if you are producing pulses f or counting circuits. Figure 7 shows the wiring of the logic s witch. The two NAND gates are connected so that when X input is grounded the output X goes high. Opening and closing the ground at X will not change the output. Only when X is grounded will the output change to lo w. Thus, only one output change is produced with one mov ement of the X switch. There are two outputs from logic s witch, X and X or Y and Y. THE FUNCTION GENERA TOR The function generator frequencies are produced b y an XR-2206 integrated circuit. This IC is capable of producing high quality sine, square, and triangle wa vef or m of high stability and accuracy. Rental management

On the day of your renting, you should bring the contract, your boat license, an official ID so the boat owner can verify all the information.

You should check the yacht description to see if the yacht owner gave any precision on fuel pricing.

Most of the time, especially for motorboats, you can consider the fuel is not included and you pay to the boat owner. Usually, you take the yacht with a certain amount of fuel, and return it with the same quantity. For more precise details, you can directly contact the boat owner.

For most renting with a skipper, the skipper service fees are included in the price. If they are not, the owner will specify this in the listing.

For a renting with or without a skipper, do not hesitate to ask questions to the yacht owner by sending a message through the Airynb site. He/she can give you more details on the charter.

The yachts should be insured by the owners themselves. When they create a rental offer on Airynb site they should have an insurance policy.
Please check with the boat owner if he/she has signed an insurance policy.

Theoretically, the boat owner or the skipper are the only captains on board. Although, with their authorization and if you are on a sailboat, they may authorize you to steer the yacht. If you are on a motorboat, and if you are a boat license holder, you may steer the yacht if the skipper allows you to.

Rental Request

You will be always able to contact the boat owner through the "send message" button in the rental offer of the boat owner. You click on it and then you access to the Airynb contact form. Please fill in the form and send message.

You may always ask the boat owner for a discount or a personalized offer sending a message from "send message" button that is in every rental offer and filling in the contact form.

You can see the yacht according to the boat owner rules. You will then be able to exchange contact information with the owner and visit the yacht. The Airynb contact form allows you to ask all your questions, and is also accessible via mobile site.

A rental offer "without skipper" is a charter where you get the yacht alone: you will be steering it. Do not forget to specify your nautical experience and add your yacht license, in some cases, to reassure the boat owner. You will be responsible of the yacht during the entire length of the charter.

A rental offer "with skipper" is a charter with a professional skipper or the boat owner on board. They will be with you during your charter and will be in charge of steering the yacht.

A rental offer "with or without skipper" means that the yacht is available for charter with or without a skipper, both options are possible. It depends on your preference, and your nautical experience.

The yachts should be insured by the owners themselves. Please check directly with the boat owner what type of insurance they have. You can send a message by clicking on the "send message" button contained in the rental offer and filling in the contact form.

You do not pay Airynb. You directly pay the boat owner.

We do accept yacht charter professionals if those two conditions are respected:

The pricing of rental offer have to be lower to the pricing displayed on your website or in your agency/office.

Your company or website may not be mentioned at any time: not in the description, not in your photos, and not in the exchange of messages with potential boat renters.

If you make your yacht available for charter with you or a qualified person on board, the charter will be considered to be "with skipper".

If you make your yacht available for charter without skipper, the boat renter will be responsible for steering the yacht.

You may also make your yacht available for charter "with or without skipper," letting the renter choose if he wants to have a skipper on board or not (depending on the renter's preference and navigational experience.

I remember you the simple steps to create a boat rental offer:

1. Register you account as boat owner on Airynb site.

2. Register your boats on Airynb site

3. Insert a boat rental offer for every boat with calendar and price.

Boat renter communicate with you through "send message" button in the rental offer filling in the Airynb contact form. Remenber that you deal directly with the future boat renter.

You will pay a token for every day that your rental offer will be present in Airynb site. The value of the token depends from the number of your boat's feet.

When the boat renter will accept your boat rental offer you will delete the rental offer for that period on Airynb site. From that moment you will not pay more.

Airynb will notify you well in advance when the token payment will be active. From now until then you will pay nothing to enter your boat rental offers.
