The last person I spoke with at the warranty company said he personally would see that on Monday, June 7th, I would either get my TV back repaired or I would receive a new one. That didn't happen. He didn't call me on Monday. I called him today and again he said the part is on order and I should call the repair shop if I wanted my TV back. As you can imagine, I am at the end of my rope. I have contacted the local news - consumer affairs department, in hopes that they will have better luck than me. I have also contacted Consumer Affairs and lodged a complaint as well as the local Better Business Bureau. Please contact me right away. Only the red light was on and when you push the power button the green light would flash for 2-3 seconds and then go back to red. After a few hours I tried again and it began to work. Well the TV worked for a year and lo and behold last week I went to turn it on and it started doing the same thing. It has been a week and the TV will still not work. The green power light comes on for 1-2 seconds and then the television immediately reverts to stand-by mode. I contact the Emerson (Funai) service department and they told me that they could not service my television because it has been over two years since I purchased it. According to TV repair service people and other customers, the power sources on thee television are terrible and unreliable. Now not only will I not purchase anything from Walmart again (Emerson) should be hit with a class action lawsuit for making and selling Junk to the consumer. The model a dud and they know it. I, too, have been searching the net for answers on trouble shooting my 19in Emerson flat panel LCD TV. We purchased it in Nov of 2008 for our daughter's playroom. This past weekend (Memorial Day) it just quit working. I thought that perhaps it was because we had some rain showers and maybe it had suffered a lightening strike. But it was, as are all of the TVs in our house, plugged into a surge protector. None of the other TVs suffered any damage. I am truly worried because just this past Nov, we purchased a 32in TV for our room, again an Emerson from Walmart's black Friday sale. Unbelievable that Emerson will not back their products, especially if they know that there is a problem, and it certainly seems that way.After that I had absolutely no problems with it until today. It happened again for the second time. I cannot believe this, I called them and they said they cannot do anything to help me because it is not covered under warranty any ore. Even though they can see that this has happened before and it is not a problem that I caused it is a defect in their TV's! Which is ridiculous. Seriously? That is more than the TV is worth. It makes absolutely no sense as to why this TV has not been recalled because everyone has had this problem. And I believe that the company should fix the defect if it occurs at any point in time not just if it is under their 90 day labor warranty or their 1 year parts warranty. This company is a sorry business! He is a college student at Missouri Valley College in Marshall. Needless to say, he has very little money for purchases like this, but he used money he got for Christmas to purchase the TV. In May 2010, when he was getting ready to come home for the summer, the TV just stopped working. He was watching the TV at the time. The screen went black and the sound quit. We have not been able to get the TV to even turn on, since that time. This is very discouraging to someone who would have never purchased this TV, had he known it would quit working like it did, and that Walmart or Emerson won't even respond to our E-mails. We will not shop at Walmart nor will we ever purchase Emerson products again. And word of mouth goes a long way! We purchased the 2-year Product Care Plan on it because it was a big purchase for us. Today, 20 days after the 90-day return policy, the television just quit working. It shut down in the middle of watching a DVD. I unplugged the TV and left it unplugged for 30 minutes. I then plugged it back into the wall only to find that the TV didn't show any power light (red light) nor did it comes back on (green light) when I attempted to turn it on. The TV just sits there making a high pitched whine noise. It didn't even respond to the remote to release the DVD that was in it at the time it shut down. Walmart of course said they couldn't do anything about it and that I should contact the manufacturer for the warranty on the product. I searched for Emerson Electric's customer service address and could not find one. So far, we haven't been able to find one even on the net at their website either. Now, I have no means to get this taken care of without being able to contact the company's customer service department. You would think they would stand behind their products. They used to when my grandmother worked in their St. Louis plant years ago. Now they appear to be hiding from people that have problems with their products because you sure can't get in touch with them on their website either. It seems to go away after several minutes but it is obviously not supposed to be like that. Emerson (Funai Corp.) will not do anything about it even though they are aware of the defect in their TVs. I will never buy a Emerson or Funai product ever again. No wonder Wal-Mart always sells these at a great price on Black Friday. They are pieces of crap and they are trying to off load as many as they can! Something should be done about this. I paid over 500 dollars for this TV. Except that it has shut off while watching TV now 3 or 4 times now I just wanted to put my word in now if it does stop working and there is a recall I have a chance to get it replaced. Thanks. No one at the Emerson customer service wanted to help me; in fact they hung up on me when I started to ask if they were aware of the problems with this TV. We spent a lot of money on this TV and cannot afford to buy another one right now. The green light stays on a few seconds then goes off. I called Emerson and was told there is nothing they can do, the TV just went out of warranty. The light turns on and then turns off. I called Emerson. They said to unplug it, press the standby button for ten seconds, and wait 30 minutes for the system to reset. Of course it didn't. I may as well have stood on my head and clapped my hands for 3 minutes and tried again. She had purchased 5 TVs (different sizes) from Walmart, who had them on sale. She moved to a smaller home and didn't need the one she had in the kitchen, which she seldom watched. It played fine and then I turned it on one morning and it wouldn't stay on. The picture would come on fine, but would cut off in a few seconds. I didn't call Emerson because it was a gift. After reading the comments, it seems like a waste of money. I'm a senior on a low fixed income and can't afford to purchase another TV which is about the only entertainment I enjoy. We had no issues beforehand and now it's done. From what I have read, this is becoming more and more common with Emerson TV's and they don't want to deal with it. When you spend that amount of money on an item, you expect it to work for more than 2 years. Our televisions do. Our stoves do. They need to fix this and pay for shipping and handling of these items. A Wal-Mart employee told me they only return up to 90 days, no help at all. I cannot afford another TV, so will do without. I will never purchase electronics from Wal-Mart again. I did not buy the extended protection, I do not have the receipt. This morning, April 09, 2010, my children turned the TV on and it did as everybody is saying it blinks green for a few second then goes back to red, I shut it off pulled the plug for hours and it still has done nothing, so I started researching and found where I'm not the only one that this has happened to. I printed out all that I found, because in my opinion (like others as well) I think this should be a recall, or if nothing else a class action suit. I have a TV that is over 15 years old and still works great to this day. It us, not American in my opinion that we have to pay the high costs of these electronics today, and they are no better than kids toys, you might as well be prepared to spend the money to replace them within the year. But you look at things that were made back in the day, and over half are still running as they should when they were made. And you cannot get help from these companies. They are more willing to tell you, there is nothing they can do for you, unlike some of the companies back then that believed in the customer. The owner's manual said if there is a break in power to unplug it for 30 minutes to allow it to reset. There was no break in power, as it was plugged into the surge protector strip with the computer and DVD player but we tried leaving it unplugged for two hours. Still nothing. I called the customer service number on the owner's manual and spoke with Valerie in customer service. She was rude at best and told me I needed to talk with the warranty department and she gave me another number to call. I called Walmart and they will not take it back or exchange it since it has been more than a year and I don't have the box or receipt. I am wondering if anyone can force Funai into a recall considering all the complaints regarding the same issues. I now have no TV. I can't afford to just go out and buy another TV. I think this is the most sinister of actions because it was the lower income people who purchased this TV on Black Friday because it was cheap and they needed something to switch over to digital TV. That is the only reason we purchased it. My friend bought the flat screen TV on Black Friday 2008, two years ago, thinking she had an awesome deal on the TV, and then gave it to me as a birthday present in January 2009. It is a nice looking TV and I really don't watch it that often, but when I did, it had a nice picture and good sound. I had it on one night and it just up and turned itself off and wouldn't turn back on. All that happens now when the power button is pressed, is the green indicator light blinks and about 2 seconds later, it makes a high pitch squeal of sorts and then turns to the red indicator and goes back to the standby mode. I unplugged the TV for a while, tried different plugs, even unplugged the cable and still nothing works. I called the manufacturer and the woman that answered said it was out of warranty, and that was all she could do. She didn't offer a solution except to say I could try to take it back to Walmart for an exchange, which without a box or receipt, they won't take it either. She did say that she had heard it had happened a couple of times prior, but there was no further attempts to make it 'better'. Now I am out a TV and in financial situation to afford anything else. I have no TV to watch, I just listen to the radio for news, weather and music, which, to tell you the truth, has become very annoying. I never realized those stations play the same dang song over and over all day! My Cox cable technician told me that the tuner had gone bad and to call Emerson. I asked her to let it be known that I'll never buy another Emerson product and I will be filing a complaint on them. I cannot afford to buy another digital TV. It's in my bedroom and now in order to watch my favorite shows, I have to stay up and watch them on my Sylvania TV in the living room. If and when I can, I'll be buying a Sylvania or Sony at Sears. What I did find while searching the web is that this is not an easy fix and there seems to be some sort of manufacturing issue. There has to be something that could be done since so many people have had the same issue. Does this company just not care or what. I have the same problem as everyone else of turning on the TV. The green light blinks and about two seconds later it turns red and goes back to the standby mode. I unplugged the TV for a while--nothing works. All I did was go to bed one night, turn the TV off and in the morning it wouldn’t come back on. This means that the part they called a ballast is a defective part and they know this. And I know after a year, this part goes bad, this came from the repairman's own mouth when I called to check on the repair cost. Emerson is selling merchandise they know is defective and they should not be allowed to get away with this. There are hundreds, if not thousands of complaints. What does it take to make them accountable for their actions? I contacted the manufacturer and they sent me a replacement that was refurbished. It has been 3 days since we got it and it is doing the same thing now. We think it’s safe to assume that the Nest thermostats require a C-wire, just based on numerous reports we’ve seen of them misbehaving without one. Whether the Sensi Touch is right for your home depends on which accessories and wires you have and your personal preferences. The Sensi Touch beats the competition in regards to its touch screen size (the ecobee3 lite’s on-screen buttons are very small, and the Nest Thermostat E doesn’t have a touch screen) and its Apple HomeKit integration (which ecobee3 lite also has). It lags behind when it comes to some of the “extras” that competitor manufacturers have developed for their products, such as room temperature sensors and reports. Rental Request

You will be always able to contact the boat owner through the "send message" button in the rental offer of the boat owner. You click on it and then you access to the Airynb contact form. Please fill in the form and send message.

You may always ask the boat owner for a discount or a personalized offer sending a message from "send message" button that is in every rental offer and filling in the contact form.

You can see the yacht according to the boat owner rules. You will then be able to exchange contact information with the owner and visit the yacht. The Airynb contact form allows you to ask all your questions, and is also accessible via mobile site.

A rental offer "without skipper" is a charter where you get the yacht alone: you will be steering it. Do not forget to specify your nautical experience and add your yacht license, in some cases, to reassure the boat owner. You will be responsible of the yacht during the entire length of the charter.

A rental offer "with skipper" is a charter with a professional skipper or the boat owner on board. They will be with you during your charter and will be in charge of steering the yacht.

The pricing of rental offer have to be lower to the pricing displayed on your website or in your agency/office.

Your company or website may not be mentioned at any time: not in the description, not in your photos, and not in the exchange of messages with potential boat renters.

If you make your yacht available for charter with you or a qualified person on board, the charter will be considered to be "with skipper".

If you make your yacht available for charter without skipper, the boat renter will be responsible for steering the yacht.

You may also make your yacht available for charter "with or without skipper," letting the renter choose if he wants to have a skipper on board or not (depending on the renter's preference and navigational experience.

I remember you the simple steps to create a boat rental offer:

3. Insert a boat rental offer for every boat with calendar and price.

You will pay a token for every day that your rental offer will be present in Airynb site. The value of the token depends from the number of your boat's feet.

When the boat renter will accept your boat rental offer you will delete the rental offer for that period on Airynb site. From that moment you will not pay more.

Airynb will notify you well in advance when the token payment will be active. From now until then you will pay nothing to enter your boat rental offers.

Charter Request

To offer a discount or make a personalized offer to a boat renter, you can do it directly dealing with the boat renter.

You will be able to share contact information, email and phone numbers with the boat renter.
The first time will be when the boat renter will send you a message via the Airynb contact form by replying to one of your boat rental offers.
When you will receive your message you will be in contact with the boat renter and from that moment you can exchange email and phone numbers.
